We're looking for a mature, reliable, organized and proactive family assistant to help our household 3 afternoons/evenings per week, approximately 2:00–8:00 PM.This role is ideal for someone who is genuinely positive with children—warm, patient, engaging and confident—but who also enjoys keeping a household organized and running smoothly. We are specifically looking for someone who can work independently, notice what needs to be done, learn our routines quickly, and take initiative without needing constant direction.Responsibilities would include:Laundry from start to finish: wash, dry, fold and put awayIroning clothes as neededLight household tidying and organizationKitchen reset, dishwasher and general cleanupMeal prep and food preparationOrganizing cupboards, drawers, closets and household spaces as neededPreparing snacks and helping with our daughter after schoolSupervising homework/reading and playEngaging our daughter in age-appropriate activities and conversationHelping with dinner and evening routinesKeeping our daughter's school items, clothing and belongings organizedGeneral household tasks during times when I take our daughter to extracurricular activitiesOur daughter is almost 6 and comes home around 4:30 PM.
