In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with federal and provincial laws and regulations.Key Job ElementsParticipate in salary surveys and benchmark compensation practices against market dataConduct in-depth analysis on GDLS-C’s compensation programs using the latest survey resultsPrepare strategic recommendations on salary structures and incentive planning to attract and retain talent within budgetDevelop compensation presentations that effectively convey data insights through visually engaging and clear, easy-to-understand slidesManage annual compensation process for salaried employees, including modeling budgets and establishing guidelines for base pay and incentive planning within SuccessFactorsPrepare compensation planning worksheets within SuccessFactors Compensation Module and in Excel for unique situationsParticipate in job evaluationsLead the development and communication of compensation policies and proceduresProactively identify problems and opportunities for improvement,

The base salary hiring range for this position is $67,200 to $84,000 per year. Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the full salary range based on performance. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include additional components of our total compensation package, such as our incentive award program and other rewards like health benefits, employee profit-sharing, retirement savings, and more.
