They will provide advice and support on a wide range of data protection issues relevant to the Higher Education sector, investigate potential data breaches, and ensure that current projects and services follow ‘data protection by design’. The role also involves helping colleagues understand their responsibilities and supporting them to work in line with the Data Protection Principles.Additionally, the Advisor will work closely with Information Champions – staff who support the Privacy Team within their respective departments – and will be part of a forward‑thinking,



flexible team committed to placing privacy at the centre of how personal data is used.QualificationsApplicants should have significant experience in a data protection role, ideally within Higher Education.
