Benefits AnalystThomson Reuters is seeking a temporary Benefits Analyst to join our People function. This role will serve as a key partner in administering employee benefits, leave of absence programs, Retirement and Pension programs for our active and retiree population. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of benefits administration, leave management, employee support, and HR processes, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide end-to-end support for employee benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life events, status changes, escalations, and ongoing plan operations.Partner with external vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing, reporting, issue resolution, and service delivery.Manage complex benefits cases and escalations, researching issues related to plan administration, systems, data, policy interpretation, and employee inquiries.Support benefits compliance activities, audits, annual filings, and documentation requirements.Perform benefits‑related analysis, including reporting, reconciliations, data audits, utilization trends, and identification of process gaps or operational risks.Assist with annual enrollment planning and execution, including testing, communications, documentation, issue tracking, and stakeholder coordination.Process and reconcile benefits‑related invoices, payroll impacts, and vendor billing items as needed.Maintain and update plan documentation, employee‑facing materials, and internal process guides.Partner with payroll, HR operations, HRIS, finance, legal,



and external providers to ensure smooth administration of benefits programs.Support special projects such as system enhancements, vendor transitions, plan changes, integrations, or process improvement initiatives.Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting benefit programs and support implementation of required updates.Qualifications3+ years of experience in benefits administration, total rewards, HR operations, or a related analyst role.Strong knowledge of employee benefits processes, including vendor interaction, employee changes, escalations, annual enrollment, and ongoing plan administration.Experience supporting audits, reconciliations, compliance activities, and perks reporting.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and recommend solutions.Advanced attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity in a fast‑paced environment.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $28.75-$35/hr CAD.Our optional advantages can include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.#J-18808-Ljbffr
