Number of Positions: 15Title: Concrete Finisher (NOC 73100)Start Date: May 11, 2026Terms of Employment: SeasonalWage: $35-$38/ hourLocation: 4620 Manilla Road SE, Calgary, Alberta T2G 4B7Education: No degree, certificate or diplomaWork Experience: 3 years to less than 5 yearsBenefits PackageExtended medical and dental after 300 hours.Job DutiesCheck formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.Prep gravel for concrete and ensure meeting compaction requirements.Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete.Operate power vibrator to compact concrete.Level top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications using a straightedge or float.Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.Keep area clean and meet safety/company requirements.Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete.Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces if required.Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of floors, walls, roads and other concrete structures.Other duties as required.Job RequirementsOver three years of work experience as a concrete finisher.Punctual.Attention to detail.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Must be able to follow instruction and complete tasks accurately.Able to operate equipment and maintain it.Driver's licence required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
