Today, the Jim Pattison Auto Group encompasses 28 locations across Western Canada, representing 16 automotive brands.Greet customers professionally and assist with all parts inquiries in person, over the phone, and via emailAccurately identify, locate, and source automotive parts using dealership systems and manufacturer cataloguesProvide quotes, availability, and delivery timelines for parts to both retail customers and internal service techniciansProcess parts orders, invoices, returns, and special orders in accordance with dealership proceduresReceive, unpack, label,
and stock incoming parts shipments while maintaining accurate inventory recordsPick and stage parts for the service department in a timely and organized mannerMaintain an organized, clean, and efficient parts department and storage areaCommunicate effectively with technicians, service advisors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely repairsAssist in monitoring and managing parts inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortagesEnsure all customer and company information is handled with confidentiality and professionalismContribute to a positive, team-oriented environment within the dealershipPerform other duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious experience in an automotive parts department or dealership environment is a strong assetKnowledge of automotive parts and systems is highly preferredStrong customer service skills with a professional, friendly, and helpful attitudeExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and inventoryStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentComfortable using computer systems, parts catalogues, and dealership management softwareReliable, punctual,
