All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents of Canada will be given priority.DutiesThe Client Services Analyst position provides front-line technical support for the College’s technology environment and serves as the primary point of contact for faculty, staff, and students requiring assistance with institutional systems and devices. The role is responsible for responding to service requests and incidents, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring endpoint devices, and supporting access to institutional application services. The position operates within a multi-campus workplace and requires strong client service skills, technical troubleshooting ability, and the capacity to manage multiple requests through the College’s service management processes. The role contributes to the effective delivery of IT services by ensuring end-user systems and technologies are functioning reliably and that support requests are addressed in a timely manner.Respond to telephone calls,



emails and personnel requests for technical support; identify, research, andresolve technical problems; ensure timely resolution and follow-upAnswer basic questions or resolve basic computer problems in an expedient mannerDetermine level of technical assistance required and elevate issues where requiredProvide front-line technical support for the College’s technology environment, log and track IT issues, maintaining records of all issues and resolutionsFollow-up and update status and informationInstall and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipmentSet up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and appropriate softwarePerform other related duties of similar scope and complexityQualificationsA college diploma or university degree in a related field or 2 years equivalent work experience. Industry certification, such as CompTIA A+, is required, or the candidate must be actively pursuing certification with completion expected within two years of hire.Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities IncludeExcellent client service and interpersonal skills to liaise and network on behalf of CMTNKnowledge of Ellucian ColleagueExperience with desktop deployment and remote support toolsExcellent oral and written communications skillsProfessional, reliable, quick learner and a team playerSelf-motivated and able to work without direct supervision and have excellent analytical, decision-making, prioritization, and organizational skillsProficiency with desktop applications (i.E. Windows, macOS) video and web-conferencing, email and internet applicationsTech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote controlGood understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech productsAbility to diagnose and resolve basic technical issuesRequires lifting of up to 50 lbs and moving equipment manually or by rolling cartA valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract#J-18808-Ljbffr
