Join Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario as a Registered Nurse in the Mental Health Program. You will provide critical care for patients with serious mental illness in this permanent full-time role.
As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will assess complex cases and engage in crisis intervention while supporting clients through discharge planning. Ideal candidates will have strong biopsychosocial assessment skills and at least three years of psychiatric experience. The role also involves participation in team conferences and continuous career development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess biopsychosocial and emotional needs of patients • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans • Provide crisis intervention and follow-up support • Attend team conferences and staff meetings • Conduct off-service crisis and mental health assessments
Requirements: • Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario • Three to five years of psychiatric nursing experience • Non Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate • Knowledge of psychopharmacologic treatment protocols • Ability to handle physically demanding situations
