OverviewVIA Rail is seeking electricians to join our Toronto Maintenance Center in Etobicoke.ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrician for VIA Rail, you will perform duties on locomotives and passenger cars. Your job involves inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of all electrical and electronic systems on VIA Rail’s fleet. You will read and interpret schematics and perform duties according to technical procedures to meet or exceed VIA Rail’s and Transport Canada’s standards. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors under all weather conditions.ScheduleThe position is permanent, 40 hours per week.
