DutiesReporting to the Directors and working as part of a friendly team, this is a hands‑onManagement Accountantposition with responsibility for all aspects of accounting duties as well as supporting the Directors with day‑to‑day operations.Maintaining the purchase & sales ledgers, bank reconciliations.Month‑end duties including payment runs, journal entries.Balance sheet reconciliations.Management accounting including variance analysis.Cash‑flow forecasting.Cost accounting tasks including work in progress.MI analysis and reporting, including contract profit margin analysis.Producing VAT returns.Payroll submissions, including CIS returns, HMRC, pensions, etc.Providing support to the Director with all aspects of business operations, responsibilities will increase over time.Liaising with customers and suppliers.Supporting the preparation of year‑end accounts, liaising with external accountants.Liaising with colleagues across the business and providing support as needed.Salary£40,000 – £50,000 per annum + benefits.LocationOn site at offices near Cranbrook.HoursMon – Fri, 8:30am – 5pm.Start DateASAP.Please note:
