Job DescriptionJob Title: Payroll Clerk (Centralized Payroll)Job SummaryThis role supports Payroll Analysts and Management in a centralized payroll environment, ensuring accurate retroactive pay adjustments and assisting with expense import files and quarterly bonus runs. Additionally, it contributes to process improvement initiatives and projects.ResponsibilityCalculate retroactive pay adjustments, pension adjustments, vacation payments, and other payroll adjustmentsPreparation of Records of EmploymentPreparation & import of expense import filesAssist with preparation of quarterly bonus runs and annual vacation pay runsSupport process improvement initiatives & projectsOpen and distribute mailMonitor and order office suppliesOther duties as assignedAcademic/Educational RequirementsSuccessful completion of secondary school or equivalent and related experienceCPA designation is an assetRequired Skills/ExperienceMust have 1 – 2 years of previous payroll experienceKnowledge and understanding of payroll related legislation and employment standardsADP WFN payroll system experience is an assetAbility to work in a paperless computerized workplace including advanced Excel and Word skillsCommitted to continuous improvement and learningStrong communication skills both verbal and written - ability to deal with individuals at different levels within the organization as well as government and law enforcement agenciesSelf-motivated, detail-oriented,
