You will play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative and high‑performing environment, ensuring that every repair meets the highest standards of excellence for Aviva’s customers.What You’ll Do:Coordinate and supervise the work of mechanics and technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standardsPlan, schedule, and assign work to the team, considering priorities, deadlines, and available resourcesInspect completed work, identify potential issues,
and provide guidance to improve performanceFind opportunities to promote customer satisfaction and process improvementMaintain quality and technical standards within the siteEnforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environmentDeliver on promises made to customers, ensuring minimal downtime for their vehiclesIdentify and resolve issues and blockages that interrupt the workflow in the workshopOversee training needs, ensuring appropriate training is deliveredEnsure an appropriate level of resources to meet customer demandsMake decisions based on knowledge and dataConduct performance reviews and develop talent within the teamPromote Aviva AutoCare Centre values and goalsWhat You’ll Bring:Post‑secondary educationMinimum of 5 years of experience in the auto repair industryPrior leadership experience with outstanding coaching skillsValid driver’s licenseStrong understanding of automotive mechanics and repair proceduresDemonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing recent work practices and technologiesProficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of BodyShop Connect preferredStrong communication and conflict resolution skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, identify root causes, and develop solutionsWhat You’ll Get:The salary band for this position ranges from $95,000 to $110,000.
