The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the group on all matters relating to real estate transactions. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for real estate and is looking to work alongside a highly dedicated team.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdminister files from start to finishPrepare documents with respect to acquisitions and sales of various types of commercial properties, financing and development of land, and transactions involving trust relationshipsWorking knowledge of LOTA requirements and completing transparency report filingsReview and analyze title encumbrances,
prepare terms of instruments for covenants and easementsConduct and review due diligence searches and completing summariesPrepare and diarize summaries of key transaction datesPrepare closing agendasPrepare all internal documents relating to trust funds and various payoutsLiaise with all internal and external parties involved with the transactions, including preparation of correspondencesPrepare and finalize reporting letters and diarize key post-closings dates and tasksPrepare billing/invoicing at completion of transactions where necessaryOther administrative support as requiredQualificationsGraduate of a Paralegal Program (or senior paralegal experience will be considered)Minimum 2-5 years’ experience as a Paralegal within commercial real estateProficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsStrong understanding of BC Land Title Office requirements and capability with e-filing including coordination of electronic meetsWorking knowledge of various applicable databases – i.E.
