Our employees have the opportunity to contribute to society in a unique and personal way, through various philanthropy opportunities and programs.ResponsibilitiesProactively communicating with clients and other stakeholders (e.G., providing information about the Orbis Funds, participating in client onboarding processes, facilitating account openings, and managing and updating the client database and activity records).Conducting core operations processes related to our transfer agency functions including, but not limited to, Know Your Client (KYC) processes, client money reconciliations and transaction processingOwning key responsibilities related to the transaction cycle of the Orbis Funds.
This includes verifying client transactions and validating sensitive client information.Working closely with the global Orbis Fund Operations teams and other business units to effectively communicate relevant information.Managing projects to develop pragmatic improvements and innovative solutions by working collaboratively with our dedicated technology team.Building and maintaining relationships with external and internal stakeholders to provide excellent servicing.QualificationsExcellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and empathetically with clientsStrong analytical and investigative skills accompanied with the ability to think independently and critically to solve problemsOutstanding interpersonal skills enabling you to work well in a team environment and to build strong relationships with different stakeholdersHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailA self-starter who sees challenges as opportunities and enjoys taking initiative to influence changeHigh standards of personal integrity and ability to maintain confidential informationEffective prioritisation and time management skills when working on multiple deliverablesUndergraduate degree with a proven track record of academic achievement and continuous improvement1-3 years of professional experience with a proven track record of success and progression (this can include internships and/or placements)Prior experience in financial services is not mandatory; however, a keen interest in the investment industry is an assetBenefitsThe annual base salary for this position will be between $60,000 and $70,000 per year excluding benefits.
