Our Heavy Equipment Operators have an incredibly important job as part of a team ensuring public safety and accessibility throughout the winter season in the City of Markham.

Essential Duties

Snow removal service for the City of Markham.

Previous experience with operating heavy equipment is an asset.

Must be available for on-call 24/7 during the winter season (November 2026 to April 2027).

Reliable, trustworthy and able to work varying hours, days, nights, holidays and weekends as needed.

Operate in a protected manner, ensuring property is not damaged in the efforts of removing snow.

Maintain care of company provided equipment, tools and vehicles.

Compensation This position includes a weekly on-call rate, as well as an hourly rate for the time spent working ($32/hour).
