Voyago is hiring for an Operations Manager for our Non Emergency Patient Transfer Division, to oversee the Plexus North Health Division's within Ontario. This posting is to fill a vacancy.Your Role:Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for the day to day activity of their location and region. The Operations Manager will track Key Performance Indicators, be the first point of contact for the customer, ensure efficiency and effectiveness and provide leadership and direction to the operations team, along with a team of Independent Contractors.Primary ResponsibilitiesPeople ManagementDirectsthe activities of staff, ensuring ongoing work quality, monitoring workloads and ensuring activities continue to be managed during staff vacation/sick leavesMonitorsperformance of staff, providing work direction, coaching and feedback, determining methods and procedures to be used, resolving problems, identifying opportunities for development and training and providing performance review inputMonitorsemployee engagement andimplementsprocess for improvementOperationsMonitors recruitment requirements based on call volumesReports incidents and collisions to Health and SafetyPromotes safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending safety meetings and meeting with individual staff membersConducts walk-about at client facilitiesConduct investigations in cooperation with governing agencies to determine causes of any concernsEnsure operating costs are within annual budgetVehicle ReportingReports maintenance requirements to the garageEnsures efficient vehicle utilizationCustomer ServiceConducts regular customer review meetingsMakes sure the client experience is being held to the highest of standards while increasing customer satisfaction and engagement; Delivers quality customer service and recommends operational improvements when needed·Monitor Contract KPI’s to ensure performance is compliant with contract standardsYour Profile:You posses a University/College Degree or EquivalentYou bring minimum 3 years supervisory/management experience in the transportation industry or any related fieldYour experience in non-emergency patient transportation preferredYou posses a Valid FR or equivalent certification or willing to obtain one, along with BLS certificate.You can provide a copy of your current immunization records and are willing to acquire any outstanding vaccinations required for the role, including Covid 19 x 2 minimum doses.You bring excellent organizational and problem-solving skillsYou posses effective communication skills (both written and verbal)You are available to work flexible hours, including outside regular business hoursYou posses strong knowledge in all Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI)You are comfortable presenting in front of the groupYou posses a clean Drivers Abstract and Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable SectorYou have proven excellent customer service experienceYou have strong planning and time management skills and the ability to effectively handle a variety of tasks simultaneouslyYou have excellent leadership skillsYou have the ability to manage stress under tight deadlinesYou possess a minimum G class drivers licenceYou are able to work onsite in the York location as this is an in-office position.Salary range for this role is $70,000 to $85,000, dependent upon experience and any certifications.The Perks:We offer comprehensive perks packages for full time employees with an Employee and Family Assistance Program, a great company perks program and an Employee Referral Bonus for all staffWe are an Award Winning companyAs a subsidiary of Transdev, we provide opportunities for a rewarding career with a growing, global transportation providerWe focus on innovation and sustainable environmental initiativesWe support the development, work-life balance and well-being of our employeesWe build a supportive corporate culture that encourages diversity and enables our people to flourish.We enable our employees to have a positive social impact by deploying sustainable mobility solutions.We offer our employees opportunities to build their own experience within a local, global Group.Voyago is committed to provide accommodation for individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
