Job OverviewDirect Support Professional at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Newfoundland, PA. Provide safe and appropriate care to individuals with intellectual disabilities, assist with activities of daily living, support personal hygiene, and participate in community outings and treatment planning.ResponsibilitiesProvide safe and appropriate care for all Pocono Center residents.Supervise residents and ensure their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met.Assist with hygiene tasks such as showering or toileting.Support individuals throughout daily routines, including joining them on community outings.Attend in‑service training programs to develop skills.Perform related duties, special assignments, and projects as assigned by the coordinator.Assist with activities of daily living and promote growth in functional skills, personal needs, communication, and personal adjustment.Compensation and SchedulePay rates: starting $18.00–$20.52 per hour depending on education/experience. On‑call rate: $21.50 per hour.Exchange 40 hours of time off for an additional $0.38 per hour, or 80 hours for an additional $0.77 per hour.Additional $0.30 evening shift differential, $0.50 overnight shift differential.Additional $0.29 per hour if you have an active CNA certification.Earn an extra $1.00 per hour if you have an active NADSP Level 1 certification.PayActiv: Access up to 50% of wages before payday.Work ScheduleAvailable shifts: Full‑time, part‑time, and on‑call.
