You will report directly to the Director of Planning Coordination and lead a diverse, multidisciplinary team comprising professional planners, engineers, technicians, and clerks. Your leadership, supervision, and direction are essential for the effective review and delivering recommendations to City Council of land development applications within the city. This position requires an individual who can cultivate a high-performing environment, provide essential guidance and mentorship, and serve as a critical team leader alongside other General Supervisors and the Director.The General Supervisor will ensure all land development applications are facilitated and decided efficiently and consistently, adhering to the Municipal Government Act, The City Plan, statutory plans, guidelines, and City policies. Beyond regulatory oversight, this position requires the effective management of resources and creative problem solving to deliver results.
