Other elements may also include pay for performance programs (merit pay and discretionary annual performance bonuses), comprehensive health benefits and wellness programs, membership discounts, employee referral bonus, eligibility for our pension plan, career development programs, and career development/educational reimbursements.Accountabilities: How You Will Make an ImpactLead and deliver complex technical work across nuclear new build programs, including licensing, safety, environmental, and engineering scopesProvide owner’s engineering support to utilities and developers, including design oversight, technical integration, and project execution supportContribute to and lead studies such as:Site screening and site evaluationEnvironmental and Impact AssessmentsHazard assessmentsDeterministic and probabilistic safety analysisEngineering and design studies (feasibility, conceptual, and detailed support)Technology/vendor evaluations and due diligenceDevelop licensing strategies, safety cases, and regulatory submissions (e.G., CNSC)Integrate multidisciplinary inputs—engineering, environmental, safety, and regulatory—into cohesive project outcomesEngage with regulators, clients,



and stakeholders to support project advancementMentor junior staff and provide technical leadership across project teamsSupport business development activities, including proposals, scope definition, and technical planningOther duties as requiredWhat You Need to SucceedDegree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field (advanced degree is an asset)8-15+ years of senior experience in the nuclear industryStrong knowledge of the Canadian nuclear regulatory framework; international experience is an assetExperience in one or more of the following:Licensing and regulatory engagement (e.G., CNSC)Nuclear safety analysis and licensing basis developmentEnvironmental and impact assessment studiesNuclear plant design and operationFamiliarity with advanced and non-water-cooled reactor technologies is an assetProven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver complex programsStrong communication, organization, and stakeholder engagement skillsEligibility for (or attainment of) P.Eng. designationThis role requires the successful candidate to complete the security clearance process.
