Position Summary

The Business Analyst serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving the analysis, design, and delivery of business solutions that support organizational objectives. This role is responsible for identifying business needs, documenting requirements, optimizing processes, and ensuring successful implementation of projects and system enhancements across retail, supply chain, and enterprise business functions.

The ideal candidate brings 3-4+ years of business analysis experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of delivering business and technology solutions within retail and supply chain environments. Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Microsoft Great Plains and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Lead workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to gather and clarify business needs.
- Translate business requirements into detailed specifications, user stories, process flows, and business cases.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, vendors, and subject matter experts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support solution design, system configuration, testing, and implementation activities.
- Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) plans and facilitate issue resolution.
- Assist with change management, training, and adoption activities to ensure successful solution deployment.
- Evaluate impacts of proposed changes on business operations, systems, integrations, and data flows.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across retail operations, inventory management, logistics, procurement, and supply chain processes.
- Contribute to project planning, risk identification,



and prioritization activities.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-4+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst delivering business and technology projects.
- Demonstrated experience working in retail, wholesale, distribution, or supply chain environments.
- Robust understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements management, and business process mapping.
- Experience facilitating workshops and managing stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and recommend practical solutions.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions, integrations, and partner onboarding.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related modules).
- Exposure to ERP, warehouse management, inventory management, procurement, logistics, or retail systems.
- Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent are considered an asset.
