The Senior Specialist, Lifecycle Marketingis a pivotal 18‑month contract role that designs, builds, and optimizes automated, personalized member journeys across the full lifecycle using Dynamics 365 for Marketing. The role translates strategy into scalable, always‑on experiences that drive member engagement, retention, and adoption of financial plans while stewarding end‑to‑end journey execution.Key ResponsibilitiesCRM Marketing Journey DevelopmentAutomate personalized Member journeys in Dynamics 365 for Marketing by building communication workflows, program logic, and triggers for automation.Analyze data flow from integrated or non‑integrated systems, identify dependencies, gaps, and limitations, and recommend MVP or phased approaches.Design timely and relevant communication flows aligned with Member/Prospect interactions, needs, and expectations across Lifecycle, Product, and lead‑nurturing journeys.Optimize programs continually as content and market conditions change.Conduct test‑and‑learn scenarios such as A/B testing to improve engagement and retention.Leverage data segmentation for targeted communication strategies that maximize return on investment.Collaborate with Marketing Analytics and Marketing Operations to develop segments and assets for triggers and journey execution.Advise on CRM project support and new feature evolution, including preference centers and communication channels such as SMS and push notifications.Ensure journeys accelerate long‑term strategic plans by prioritizing activities and communicating progress to stakeholders.CRM Marketing Journey ManagementAct as journey gatekeeper, ensuring manageable touchpoints by monitoring contact frequency and coordinating with partners.Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Dynamics 365 Marketing journeys, including data, logic, trigger, integration, and execution errors.Perform pre‑ and post‑deployment QA using established checklists, providing feedback to improve QA processes.Coordinate with the CRM Center of Excellence to submit and resolve bugs,



ensuring a seamless journey experience.Collaborate cross‑functionally with Enterprise Analytics, Data Governance, Member Experience Services, and Sales to streamline communication and consolidate data for segmentation and reporting.Performance MeasurementMonitor key performance indicators to measure journey success and inform prioritization and reinvestment.Conduct trend analysis to identify journey triggers and desired Member behaviours.Perform external research to identify growth opportunities through industry analysis.Socialize regular performance reports with senior management and stakeholders.Audit and optimize reporting processes to ensure accuracy and relevance.Marketing Journey StrategyCollaborate with senior leadership to develop communication flows and execute personalized touchpoints.Map Member journeys for approvals and identify pain points.Participate in or manage project/journey/campaign implementation, including Agile oversight, timelines, budget, and collaboration.Advocate for SME knowledge to enhance technology and journey production.Drive Member loyalty and retention through iterative optimization of existing journeys to support growth to 2030 and beyond.Education, Designations, Training And Experience7 to 10 years of journey development experience.Experience in a financial institution environment an asset, with knowledge of financial metrics, segmentation, and industry drivers.Undergraduate degree (or higher) in Technology, Marketing, Business, or equivalent work experience.Experience managing and developing journeys for lifecycle, product, and lead‑nurturing marketing communications.Experience with scripting languages such as Python, R,



VBA for automation and integrations.Hands‑on experience in customer lifecycle journeys and data analysis to inform decisions.Strong project management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience developing and implementing customer journey strategies.Strong understanding of customer behaviour and insight usage.Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesExpert knowledge of CRM platforms, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365.Strong knowledge of marketing automation platforms such as Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Acoustic.Advanced user of Microsoft Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office tools.Expertise in customer journey mapping using visual flow tools such as Figma.Working knowledge of analytics stacks, data warehouses, and visualization tools.Solid financial acumen and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.Experience in project management and agile environments.Knowledge of communication compliance best practices (CASL, PII, CAN‑SPAM, GDPR).Data analysis, troubleshooting, and creative problem‑solving skills.Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.Self‑starter with organizational skills and effective prioritization.Strong analytical skills and data‑driven decision‑making.Salary RangeCAD $59,800.00 to $89,800.00 annually.Office LocationToronto Corporate Office with the ability to travel to our St. Catharines office as needed.
