Dawson is seeking diverse, energetic, and dynamic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, entrepreneurial environment.The Associate plays an essential role in the day-to-day operations of the Investment Finance (Open-Ended Funds and Structured Products) team and supporting the firm in achieving its business goals.Reporting to the Director, Investment Finance (Open-Ended Funds and Structured Products), the Associate is a detail-oriented accounting professional preferably with fund administration experience focused on the private equity, hedge funds and/or alternative asset classes.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with external fund administrators on subscription and redemption processes, ensuring accuracy,



timeliness and proper documentationCalculate and validate portfolio valuations, management fees and performance fees for each reporting periodMaintain internal accounting records and record transactions on a daily basisAssist in the distribution process, including the calculation and tracking of distribution amounts across multiple seriesLiaise internally and with external trustees to facilitate structured product transactions and ensure proper operational flowPrepare and deliver internal and external reportingCollaborate with the internal technology team to build and maintain productive data flows for internal data consumptionRespond to investor and internal stakeholder queries in a clear, professional, and solutions-oriented mannerAssist in the annual financial audit and SOC 1 reporting processesAssist in onboarding new vehiclesPrepare and maintain process documentationBuild and foster strong working relationships with other teams within the firmProvide support for ad hoc projects as required.Required SkillsBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics; and professional accounting or finance designation (CPA, CFA) considered an asset2-3 years of relevant experience in a private equity firm,
