P&C; insurance knowledge is a strong asset.What is in it for youSalaried: $40-42 per hour.Incorporated Business Rate: $46-48 per hour.1-Year contract (maternity leave replacement).Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid work.ResponsibilitiesTranslate a wide range of documents related to property and casualty (P&C;) insurance, including technical manuals, training materials, guidelines, job aids, newsletters, and software interfaces.Act as a linguistic resource, providing guidance and support to internal clients and fellow translators on a variety of topics.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure translations are accurate, clear, and aligned with business needs.Maintain and update translation memories and terminology databases.Manage assignments using the company’s translation project management system.Contribute to the improvement of linguistic tools and internal translation processes.Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Linguistic Services project manager.What you will need to succeedDegree or diploma in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.Certification or membership with a recognized professional association (e.G., OTTIAQ, ATIO) is an asset.5+ years of professional translation experience,
