The City of Edmonton is seeking two Engineers in Training for its Safe Mobility Strategy. Your role will involve traffic safety evaluations, data analysis, and recommending safety enhancements under senior guidance. This position provides an excellent learning opportunity in traffic engineering focused on achieving zero traffic-related fatalities by 2032.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct analyses based on traffic safety indicators • Utilize national guidelines for safety performance assessments • Recommend countermeasures using evidence-based practices • Draft engineering drawings in collaboration with technologists • Collaborate with diverse teams for project delivery

Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering • APEGA EIT registration needed • Experience with traffic engineering concepts • Ability to analyze complex technical data • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence
