Support critical care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as a part-time Registered Nurse at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto. Deliver evidence-based and culturally appropriate care to neonates and their families.
As an RN, you will be a vital member of an inter-professional team ensuring safe and effective nursing practices. This role offers opportunities for critical reflection, professional development, and promoting wellness among our tiniest patients in a rapidly changing healthcare workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and address patients' care and educational needs • Develop and integrate patient care plans collaboratively • Organize nursing care and modify assignments as necessary • Provide relevant patient and family education • Participate in evidence-based practice and research projects
Requirements: • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario • BLS Certification and Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate • Experience in an advanced neonatology environment • Knowledge of neonatal care standards and pathophysiology • Proven time management and organizational abilities
