The salary range for this position is CAD $24.76/Hr. – CAD $26.38/Hr.Come work as an Audiology Program Assistant with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for an Audiology Program Assistant to join the Audiology team at Primary Care Audiology Clinic in Vancouver, BC.Apply today to join our passionate team dedicated to servicing the community!As an Audiology Program Assistant with VCH you willPerform a variety of administrative support functions such as scheduling and managing appointments, inputting client information into computerized client information systems, word processing, composing and signing correspondence, typing reports and documents, and answering inquiries specifically related to the Audiology program and policies.Education & ExperienceGrade 12, graduation from an Office Administration program supplemented by one (1) year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is required.Knowledge & AbilitiesKnowledge of office practices and procedures.Knowledge of medical terminology.Ability to understand and apply relevant software.Ability to keyboard 5,000 keystrokes per hour.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a busy multitasking environment.Ability to work independently and effectively with others.Ability to be sensitive, tactful and diplomatic with clients, co‑workers and the public.Ability to organize and prioritize work.Ability to compile information.Ability to perform relevant calculations.Ability to operate related equipment.Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.The hours of work, including days off and work area, may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
