Work will require consistent travel for extended periods of time to various locations to transport staff to work sites located out of Sault Ste. Marie.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely and safe transportation of Norpro staff to and from worksites when applicable highway authority confirms highways or alternate routes are open and safe to travel, including use of approved alternate routes as directed by official closure and opening advisories.Ensure shuttle is fueled, well maintained and presentable at all times.Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are safe to run.Observe all relevant traffic and safety laws.Assist passengers in loading and unloading their luggage into the vehicle.Answer passengers' questions in a polite and gentle manner.Maintain constant communication with the dispatcher or manager.Carry out repairs of minor faults and report major problems, accidents,



or damage to the vehicle to the dispatcher or technician.Obey all traffic rules and regulations guiding the operation of shuttle services in the assigned area.Dress in a neat and professional manner.Other related duties as assigned.QualificationsWorking knowledge of pertinent car maintenance techniques.Good knowledge of traffic rules and regulations guiding the operation of shuttle drivers in the area.Able to work adaptable shifts.Require consistent travel for extended periods of time to various locations.Require travelling long distances for extended periods.
