In this full-time position, you will report to the Director of Settlement and Family Services, offering end-to-end legal support to newcomers. Your expertise in employment, family, and tenancy law will help clients understand their rights and responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
• Guide newcomers through legal literacy education • Help navigate employment and tenancy laws in Saskatchewan • Collaborate with various units for comprehensive support • Offer interpretation support for non-English speakers • Conduct workshops and presentations to enhance understanding
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in social sciences or related field • Two years of experience in legal navigation or counseling • Familiarity with Saskatchewan legal frameworks as an asset • Solid communication and workshop facilitation skills • Proficiency in legal research tools is beneficial
