Post End Date:May 22, 2026 at 11:59 PMThis job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the Administrative Qualified (Employee Group).Please note:This is a fixed-term contract with benefits set to conclude in May, 2027.About the RoleReporting to the General Co‑director of the Staging Better Futures/Mettre en scène de meilleurs avenirs SSHRC Partnership, the Project Administrator is responsible for supporting project operations and the workflows of the Knowledge Sustainability Cluster. The incumbent maintains project management tools and templates, meeting coordination, internal communications, accurate record‑keeping, digital archive content, and financial administration for the project.The Project Administrator will:Maintain project management tools (member directory, meeting and other document templates, timeline template)Co‑ordinate meetings of the co‑directors, Knowledge Sustainability Groups, and other meetings requiring simultaneous interpretationMaintain a calendar of annual activities (deliverables, milestones)Facilitate translation and interpretationCoordinate, budget, book, and manage expenses for travel for project co‑directors and postdoctoral fellowsDevelop and implement the project’s strategic communications plan and the project’s brand/visual identityOversee consistency with the project’s bilingual glossary and lexicon in project communicationsCollect, organize, and maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of Project Management and Operations activitiesRecord meetings and distribute and archive recordingsCollect, organize, format, and upload research records in multiple media (including text, sound, video, and images)Contribute to development and implementation of a project‑wide data sustainability plan, monitor consistencyManage all aspects of invoice payment, process cheque requisitions, hires and PAPs on WorkdayPrepare and monitor RA contractsLiaise with partner institutions to establish agreements, manage annual reporting,



and provide guidance on eligible expensesPrepare and submit required reports to SSHRC and other funding agenciesMaintain monthly budget reconciliationsAssist with grant applications and other fundraisingKey Skills and ExperienceUndergraduate degree in Art, Humanities, Social Sciences, or related fields; the equivalent combination of education and experience would be consideredBilingual (French‑English)Related experience in roles that support operations and communications in event, stage, production, or project management, or a related fieldRelated experience in roles that support digital archiving, records management, and data sustainabilityRelated experience in financial administrationCoordination and organisational skills with the ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and manage workflowStrong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex information with attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft, Google, and Adobe software suitesDemonstrated interest in emerging issues in data sustainability, including platform dependency, accessibility, and data securityDemonstrated experience in managing project budgets and timelinesProficiency in Workday or other institutional financial management systemsHighly developed sense of discretion and judgement to deal ethically with sensitive and/or confidential informationHigh level of cultural competency and ability to work effectively with collaborators from differing disciplinary backgrounds, expertise,
