As the leader of the Herschel Supply Co. store team, you will drive service and sales excellence, execute marketing and visual campaigns, generate customer loyalty, and exceed all retail KPIs. Areas of focus include building a world‐class team, all aspects of product, directed visual merchandising, store environment, and store‐level marketing strategy.The Store Manager will possess discretion, solid judgment, and strategic decision‐making abilities, working collaboratively with HQ in Vancouver, BC and other leaders in the retail network.Reporting into the Area Manager (Vancouver),
you will be part of the Retail Leadership Team and help shape the retail environment.A DAY IN THE LIFEStore LeadershipAchieve budgeted sales, margin and profitability goals for the storeReview and manage expenses regularly; develop and implement strategies to grow sales and minimize costsHire, coach, discipline, and terminate employees in accordance with company policies and proceduresLead and supervise team membersFoster a work setting that supports teamwork, productivity, and employee engagementManage staff schedules and payroll; ensure store hours and expertise meet customer and store performance needsCommunicate and uphold company and store standards, policies and proceduresPerform reporting and management‐related administrative tasksMonitor team members' work performance; deliver timely positiveor constructive feedbackEnsure execution of exceptional sales and service as per Herschel sales and service standardsAcquire, teach and utilize in‐depth product knowledge each season, including fit, fabric and intended use through workbooks,
online and local sales repsOversee effective product and visual merchandising to drive sales and create a positive customer experience with the Herschel brandImplement seasonal layout changes and adapt as necessary throughout the seasonLead and manage store loss prevention efforts and awarenessOversee the execution of physical inventory at the storeStore Environment & MarketingEnsure product and visual merchandising standards are executed, maintained and enhanced, including window displays and in‐store merchandising, in partnership with Herschel HQ visual & retail merchandising teamOversee execution of tactical components of store marketing strategy and plans, including events, social media and visual merchandising to drive customer acquisition and salesMaintain organization and cleanliness of the storeYOUR JOURNEY WITH HERSCHEL SUPPLYThe annual salary for this role falls within the range of $55,000‐$65,000 CAD.
