OverviewLedcor has an exciting opportunity for a HS&E; Lead to join a full‑time permanent position in Mississauga, ON. In this role you will be responsible for the execution and implementation of a diverse range of health and safety programs and you will work on challenging projects with diverse and collaborative teams to meet and exceed Ledcor’s safety standards.This position will be site‑based out of our project site at Toronto Pearson Airport.Apply today to join our team!ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections of the work area and meet with field supervisors to discuss potential problems, ensuring a sufficient supply of safety equipment such as protective gear, fire extinguishers, and respirators.Advise operations regarding Ledcor’s Health and Safety Management System, based on a solid understanding of program execution throughout the project lifecycle.Monitor compliance with jurisdictional regulatory requirements.Assist in the coordination and completion of safe work procedures, hazard assessments, safety inspections, focus audits, and incident investigations.Verify compliance with leading and lagging indicators, including subcontractors and any identified corrective actions.Conduct the HS&E; orientation for employees and subcontractors during project onboarding.Provide support to site leadership in preparing site‑specific material for safety meetings and toolbox talks.Support the coordination, organization,



and delivery of project toolbox talks and safety meetings.Develop and enhance Job Hazard Analysis and Safe Work Practice documents based on existing materials.Monitor and report on the overall effectiveness of the project HS&E; plans.Audit the quality of field‑level hazard assessments and incident investigation reports for accuracy and completeness.Assist with the implementation of occupational hygiene practices and maintain awareness of medical screening programs.Qualifications5+ years of related work experience in industrial, commercial, and institutional settings.CRSP, certificate or diploma in occupational health and safety, CSO or NCSO designation preferred.Technical knowledge of common construction practices, techniques, and equipment within ICI industries.Effective communication and presentation skills to the hourly workforce and to project management, clients, and customers.Previous experience managing or leading 2+ individuals preferred.Proactive approach to safety, identifying operational and organizational issues and developing and implementing strategies to resolve them.Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, program development, safety & health training, and accident investigation.Ability to tailor information/style to the audience, explaining complex details clearly, and influencing consensus.Team player with ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.Strong computer competency, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Valid provincial driver’s license and driver’s abstract required.Work ConditionsThis is a site‑based position.Compensation$90,900.00 – $121,200.00This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on experience, knowledge,
