Asset ManagerAsset Manager is responsible for driving asset performance, reliability insights, and data transparency across a highly automated distribution center. This role serves as the analytical backbone of the maintenance and engineering organization—transforming raw assets, CMMS, WMS, and controls data into actionable insights that improve uptime, reduce cost, and support long‑term capital and maintenance strategy.The Asset Manager partners closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Controls/PLC Engineering, and Finance to ensure assets are maintained, utilized, and invested in based on facts—not assumptions.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze asset performance metrics including uptime, downtime, MTBF, MTTR, availability, and utilizationLead a team of two, responsible for planning and parts oversightIdentify chronic failure modes, repeat downtime drivers, and reliability risksSupport Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives with data insightsTrack effectiveness of corrective actions and long‑term fixesOwn CMMS data quality (asset hierarchy, PM compliance, failure codes, work order accuracy)Audit and standardize asset naming, classifications, and failure codingPartner with maintenance leadership to ensure accurate labor, parts, and downtime captureDevelop dashboards and scorecards that reflect true asset healthAnalyze PM effectiveness and recommend optimization (frequency, scope, condition‑based triggersSupport transition from reactive to predictive maintenance using trend analysisIdentify early warning indicators for asset degradationAssist in PM rationalization efforts during maintenance organization maturity phasesAnalyze spare parts consumption, critical spares exposure, and obsolescence riskSupport min/max optimization and criticality assessmentsTrack maintenance cost per asset, cost per unit, and lifecycle cost trendsPartner with Procurement and Finance on cost control and forecastingSupport asset lifecycle planning and replacement strategiesBuild data‑driven business cases for capital requests and major repairsTrack asset age, condition,
