Key Responsibilities:



• Carry out preventative checks on heavy equipment • Diagnose and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems • Inspect equipment and resolve operational defects • Assist Journeyman mechanics during service calls • Attend tool-box safety meetings and training sessions

Requirements: • Must be a Registered Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician or above • Clean class 5 Driver’s license required for operating vehicles • Class 1 or 3 license considered beneficial • Experience with hydraulic systems and pumps is an asset • Ability to complete a pre-employment drug test
