Role Overview

The ServiceNow ITAM / CMDB Engineer – Endpoint Data will lead enterprise endpoint data integration and inventory management across Microsoft Intune, ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB, and endpoint security/telemetry platforms.

Location: Remote (occasional travel to N/E Toronto office may be required)

Contract Duration: 12 Months (strong chance of extension)

The role will improve endpoint inventory accuracy, automate asset lifecycle processes, strengthen data governance and audit readiness, and enable trusted reporting across physical and virtual devices. A key priority is the development of an enterprise AI asset inventory, including AI agents, copilots, models, and AI-enabled solutions.

Key Selection Criteria (CVs will be screen based on the following experience):

1. ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB + Microsoft Intune expertise.
2. Strong endpoint inventory and asset lifecycle management experience.
3. Proven ability to build data integrations, pipelines, APIs, and automation.
4. Solid data quality and governance capabilities.
5. Experience improving inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and reporting.
6. Ability to lead/coordinate technical initiatives and turn requirements into actions and timelines.
7. Exposure to AI asset inventory / AI Agent Registry initiatives — particularly Agent 365 or similar solutions is a major plus.

Must-Have Requirements

- 5+ years in data engineering, endpoint management, IT asset management, CMDB, or enterprise systems integration.
- Strong ServiceNow ITAM and CMDB experience.
- Strong Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management experience.
- Experience with endpoint inventory and asset lifecycle management.
- Solid data integration experience, including APIs, data pipelines, automation, and system-to-system integrations.
- Experience with data quality, reconciliation, governance, and Critical Data Elements.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.




- Ability to translate technical requirements into deliverables, timelines, and business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management experience in a large enterprise environment.

Nice-to-Have

- Experience with AI asset inventories, AI Agent Registries, Microsoft Agent 365, or similar AI inventory/governance solutions.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Logic Apps, or Power Automate.
- Experience with Windows 365, AVD/WVD, VDI, or other virtual desktop environments.
- Experience in a financial institution or highly regulated environment.
- ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB certification or Microsoft Intune certification.

Key Responsibilities

- Own endpoint data integration and ensure accurate, complete, and synchronized device data across Intune, ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB, and related platforms.
- Design and support data pipelines, APIs, integrations, and automation workflows for endpoint inventory and lifecycle management.
- Improve data quality through validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and remediation.
- Support automated asset lifecycle processes including provisioning, refresh, aging, retirement, and decommissioning.
- Define and align Critical Data Elements (CDEs), data standards, ownership, and lifecycle attributes with ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB.
- Enable reliable reporting, dashboards, and analytics for endpoint assets, compliance, utilization, and lifecycle status.
- Support inventory across physical and virtual environments, including Windows 365, AVD/WVD, VDI, and Microsoft Managed Desktop.
- Partner with ITAM, ServiceNow, Cyber Security, Data Governance, End User Computing, and other stakeholders to improve asset governance and data quality.
- Support the development of the AI Asset Inventory / AI Agent Registry, defining inventory scope, metadata, ownership, risk classification, and lifecycle requirements.
- Translate technical requirements into actionable deliverables, timelines, and implementation plans.
