Work Location:Winnipeg, Manitoba, CanadaHours:37.5Line of Business:TD WealthPay Details:$77,500 - $109,400 CADJob DescriptionAs a member of Private Wealth Management, the Wealth Planning Specialist partners with TD advisors to deliver high‑value customized guidance on retirement, tax, estate and overall wealth planning for high‑net‑worth clients. The specialist provides professional financial, tax, estate and risk‑management planning support; assists advisors and relationship managers with business development, opportunity spotting and revenue generation; and executes TD Wealth’s high‑net‑worth strategy.Key responsibilities includePreparing customized wealth plans based on information obtained directly from HNW clients and their relationship managersCarrying out independent research to ensure client key issues (retirement, tax, philanthropic, and estate planning) are addressedKeeping informed of relevant wealth‑planning developments and informing TD partnersProactively spotting, anchoring, introducing and following up on opportunities for complementary businesses and solutionsDeveloping and maintaining relationships with TD Wealth advisors and relationship managers within TD Wealth ManagementDelivering wealth‑planning presentations to advisors and clientsAssisting other WAS team members with preparing comprehensive wealth plansDeveloping strong internal and external networks and referral sourcesEnsuring appropriate service levels to maximize profitability, minimise costs,



and manage business to avoid financial losses and reputational damageCarrying out other tasks and duties as assigned by manager from time to timeEducation/AccreditationsUndergraduate degreeAccredited financial planning designation (CFP, PFP)Eight years of relevant experience in all aspects of wealth planningComplex financial planning experienceEffective communication skills in English, both oral and writtenStrong analytical and judgment skillsComputer skills: Microsoft Office, Naviplan, Voyant, or CCH (Financial Planning software)Ability to work both as part of a team and independentlyOther Qualifications/Skills/ExperienceMinimum eight years of financial or wealth‑planning experience gained at an accounting firm or financial institutionSelf‑starter capable of working independently and providing high‑quality services to clientsExcellent people and relationship‑building skillsStrong communication, presentation, time‑management, and organizational skillsComputer proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)Professional designation such as CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, CFA, LLB, or JD is an assetInvestment and insurance industry knowledge is a solid assetBenefitsOur Total Rewards package includes a base salary, variable compensation, health and well‑being benefits, savings and retirement programs, paid time off, and other rewards and recognition programs.Language Requirement (Quebec only)Sans Objet#J-18808-Ljbffr
