The position is a 7x7, 12‑hour schedule with day and night shift rotation. This is not a fly‑in‑fly‑out position.PositionMine Maintenance LabourerLocationCopper Mountain Mine is located near the town of Princeton, British Columbia, in the scenic Similkameen Valley. Princeton is a community‑oriented town with many outdoor activities and is close to Vancouver and the Okanagan.SummaryReporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, the Mine Maintenance Labourer assists the maintenance teams with various labour‑type tasks to support the operation of the mine.ResponsibilitiesConduct all activities safely and follow Copper Mountain Mine safety requirements and SOPs.Practice safe work behaviours and support the safety culture through participation in daily and monthly safety meetings and initiatives.Adhere strictly to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements while on mine property.Perform general housekeeping practices in the work area.Take oil samples for preventive maintenance.Use steam cleaning equipment to clean equipment and maintain attention to detail.Assist mechanics, electricians,



and maintenance team members when required; fill in for a lube serviceperson as needed.Perform any other responsibilities related to the role as required or assigned by the supervisor.Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED).Previous manual labour experience is an asset.Possess a valid Class 5/7N driver’s licence and have access to personal transportation.Required SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to learn on various equipment, adopt best practices, and maintain a strong focus on safety, integrity, and reliability.Solid mechanical aptitude.Self‑motivated and able to work alone or with minimal supervision.Meticulous approach while steaming/cleaning equipment and maintaining shop and site areas.Required to meet pre‑employment testing requirements.Demonstrate eligibility to work in Canada.Working ConditionsExposure to noisy, dusty, and wet environments.Frequent exposure to vibrations and chemicals; often required towork alone with minimal supervision.Work in heavy industrial environments with potential adverse temperature conditions, both hot and cold, moisture, uneven surfaces, confined spaces, heights, and ladder or stair use.Exposure to outdoor work in all weather conditions, including winter driving, operating light vehicles, and navigating varied terrain.Regular lifting and moving of items and equipment up to 50 lbs.Climbing on equipment and under equipment in wet or muddy conditions occasionally.Rate of Pay$33.19 per hour.Equal OpportunityCopper Mountain Mine is an equal‑opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
