THE ROLEAs the Senior Analytics Engineer, you will:Develop complex SQL transformations to create beautifully designed and widely used data modelsEmbed and enrich business logic to unify the analysis of cross functional teamsDesign and recommend data model structure and flowReview and approve model changes and for Seniors, be the technical owner for specific data sub-domainsCreate in Google Cloud Platform and Dataform (Google’s version of DBT)Contribute to and leverage the best practices and standards of analytics engineeringTHE QUALIFICATIONSThe Senior Analytics Engineer has proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in:Excellent SQL skills with the ability to create productive & tune data modelsStrong business modelling skills: going from expressed requirements to an actual data modelVaried design options of reshaping data tablesModern cloud data platforms such as GCP, MS, AWSSAP HANA data environment is a plusAn enthusiastic approach to taking on new opportunities and challengesThe ability to collaborate fluently with cross‑functional partnersA commitment to learn and apply Aritzia’s Business and People Leadership principlesTHE COMPENSATIONAt Aritzia, we provide market‑leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay‑for‑performance philosophy.The range for roles at this level is $100,000 - $300,000 per year.
