We succeed by efficiently delivering very high-quality, client-centered services.About the OpportunityWe are looking for an associate with 2-5 years’ experience to assist the partners on labour files. Matters will include grievances, certification applications, termination/displacement applications, unfair labour practice complaints, among other things. The focus will be on work before the Ontario Labour Relations Board.Your work will likely include both union-side files and management-side files, as well as disputes between unions.Many files, though not all, will be in the construction industry.



Prior experience specifically in construction labour litigation is an asset but is not a requirement.Responsibilitiesmeeting with clientsdrafting applications and written submissionspreparing for and attending mediations and hearingsQualificationsdemonstrated experience in labour law and related litigation, including in particular at the Ontario Labour Relations Boardexcellent analytical, writing, oral communication, research, and interpersonal skillsthe ability to work independentlygood time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlinesWe welcome applications from people with disabilities.
