This is an opportunity to apply deep regulatory expertise in an environment that values collaboration, accountability, and thoughtful decision-making.What you’d be responsible forReporting to the Associate Director, Regulatory AffairsThis position will be responsible for the following (but not limited to):Regulatory Strategy & PlanningContributing to Ontario regulatory filing plans and directions while ensuring alignment with EPCOR Ontario’s overall strategyAdvising on regulatory priorities, positioning, and risk considerationsSupporting budget planning for regulatory compliance and special regulatory projectsRegulatory Applications & SubmissionsLeading the preparation of OEB annual, quarterly, and ad‑hoc regulatory filings (QRAM, IRM, CPCN, cost‑of‑service, leave‑to‑construct applications, and others)Preparing accurate, complete, and defensible regulatory documentation in compliance with all applicable rules and timelinesCoordinating submission materials required for OEB consultations and hearingsCross‑Functional Leadership & CollaborationCoordinating work across internal groups (Legal, Finance, Gas Supply, Operations, and others) to deliver integrated regulatory outcomesProviding cross‑functional leadership to staff who do not directly report to you,



while maintaining strong, positive working relationshipsEnhancing regulatory processes, templates, and coordination practices with the Associate Director, Regulatory AffairsCompliance, Analysis & AdvisoryMonitoring OEB, Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), and Ministry of Energy regulatory requirements and policy changesAdvising internal stakeholders on regulatory impacts, compliance obligations, and strategic responsesEnsuring full compliance with Codes of Conduct and applicable provincial regulationsContributing to the development and execution of annual compliance schedulesWhat’s required to be successfulUniversity degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or equivalent5+ years of utility industry experience, combined with hands‑on experience in regulatory, accounting, finance, or engineering rolesStrong understanding of Ontario’s electricity and gas utility operationsIn‑depth knowledge of OEB and IESO regulatory frameworks and processesWorking knowledge of the Electricity Act, Distribution System Code, Gas Distribution Access Rule, and related government standardsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess information, and support sound business decisionsProficiency working with data, including numerical analysis, data management, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insightsExperience with data tools and platforms, including Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications, databases, and Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards.Ability to translate technical and operational information into high‑quality regulatory filingsStrong written and verbal communication skills,
