JOB OVERVIEWReporting to the Chief Election Officer, this position assists with planning, coordinating, and delivering the Local Government Election. The Elections Assistant will provide administrative, logistical, and operational support essential to the successful conduct of the election.QUALIFICATIONSA High school graduation, supplemented by business courses and/or related administrative training and experience.A Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle; will be required to provide a driver’s abstract.Availability to work evenings and weekends as required to support voting day(s) duties.PAYThe hourly pay rate for this temporary six (6) month, full-time 7-hour-per-day position is $33.28-35.99 (2026 rates). Leading up to the election in the fall of 2026, the hours will generally be Monday to Friday,
