Job description:Support the Quality Assurance program designed to ensure defect‑free solutions for customersTake a hands‑on approach to implementing and maintaining the Quality Assurance systemAssist with internal audits per audit plan and re‑certification audits for ISO 14001Assist with company quality system to ensure all quality activities are standardizedDevelop and maintain PFMEAs, CP and F/O forms including Standard Operating Procedures for Quality AssuranceEnsure employees are complying with company QA standardsContribute to operational excellence initiatives such as OEE, TPM, first rate product quality, safety, ease of use, cost changeover timesRoot cause analysisManage non‑conforming material and product management of rejected materialsRecord and communicate on Quality Loss metricsMinimize scrap levels and make ready for all products as outlined in KPIsConduct first‑off and in‑process frequency checks,



including last off at all stages of our processesConduct finished product quality assurance including traceabilityPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred but will consider others)3 yrs+ experience as a Quality EngineerAble to develop, write and implement Quality Assurance Systems and ProceduresKnowledge of AIAG Core tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, PFMEA, etc.)Knowledge of OEE and TPM component metricsAbility to clearly communicate and train employees on quality program standardsAble to work day shift and be available for off shift QA training of employees on occasionComputer literate (MS Office, Outlook)Why is This a Outstanding Opportunity:Salary Type: Annual SalarySalary Min: CA$ 75000Salary Max: CA$ 80000Currency Type: CAD#J-18808-Ljbffr
