Bookkeeper / Operations Administrator

Our client is a specialized engineering and contracting firm delivering

innovative building solutions through advanced technology, engineering expertise, and experienced workmanship . They are seeking a detail-oriented

Bookkeeper / Operations Administrator

to support day-to-day office operations and manage full-cycle bookkeeping for a project-based engineering/construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including AP, AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and payroll.

Perform project/job costing and monitor budgets and profitability.

Prepare HST, WSIB, payroll, and other CRA-related filings.

Manage QuickBooks Desktop and maintain accurate financial records.

Provide administrative support including purchase orders, contracts, scheduling, correspondence, and client/vendor communication.





Prepare financial reports and year-end working papers; liaise with external accountants.

Support management with budgeting, cash flow, and operational matters.

Qualifications

3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience.

Strong QuickBooks Desktop and Excel skills.

Experience with project/job costing, construction, engineering, or contracting is an asset.

Knowledge of HST, WSIB, payroll, and CRA requirements.

Robust organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
