Supporting over 250 schools, social service organizations, and Springboard staff, the HUB reaches thousands of participants annually across Canada.The Illustrator and Graphic Designer is an entry level digital artist,
graphic designer and illustrator position that will be based in Springboard’s Community Learning HUB (HUB).The illustrator and graphic designer will report directly to the HUB Manager and work with a remote creative digital artist team to develop digital illustrations, animations, and prototypes for HUB programs and communications. Mentorship and oversight for the successful applicant will also be provided by the Senior Designer.Ways you can contributeSupport with sketching, drawing and designing art concepts for HUB program contentSupport with creating wireframes and prototypes for HUB program contentSupport with designing web graphics such as online banners, images, product landing pages and other graphic needs.The successful applicant will gain experience in:Digital design and illustration processes for e-learning module creationUtilization of digital design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and FigmaAdapting illustrations and graphics to different artistic stylesUnderstanding and providing accurate design timelines for projectsTask management through working on multiple projects at the same timeUnderstanding digital production work flow through working with a diverse team of Designers, Developers, and Curriculum WritersSkill development in understanding digital production work flow through working with a diverse team of Designers, Developers, and Curriculum WritersWHO YOU AREKnowledge/ExperiencePost Secondary Diploma/Certificates/Degrees a in related fieldAs an Illustrator & Graphic Designer, you will have the chance to build and apply the following skills:Collaboration:You work well with others and contribute to shared goals. You support team members and participate in group creative projects.Communication:You are able to share ideas clearly and listen to feedback from supervisors and team members,
