Camp Counsellors will assist in the implementation and delivery of camp activities and ensure camper safety and security throughout the day. They will follow policies and procedures while delivering camp services and work effectively with the Program Coordinator, Camp Directors, Supervisors, peers, participants and the public.Key DatesJune 4: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pmJune 10: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pmJune 20: 8:30 am – 4:30 pmJune 25: 8:30 am – 12:00 pmThe times noted above are tentative and will be confirmed in your Employment Offer.Camp DatesJune 29 – August 28, 2026, or if at Elgin West CC, September 4, 2026Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesImplement daily camp activities.Modify camp activities to ensure campers with disabilities can participate and be fully integrated.Ensure a variety of activities in the camp program.Ensure camp ratios are met at all times.Work with the Camp Volunteers to include them in programs and assign responsibilities.Communicate and interact with participants, making everyone feel welcome.Ensure campers' safety and security throughout the day.Complete all necessary forms (accident, incident) promptly and accurately.Represent the City of Richmond Hill by presenting yourself in a cooperative, organized, enthusiastic,
