Duties
Safely operate heavy trucks to transport goods between locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Routes include Windsor-Essex Area and Day trips to the Greater Toronto Area
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Load and unload cargo, utilizing proper lifting techniques to handle heavy items efficiently
Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries, adjusting as needed for traffic or weather conditions
Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation




Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules
Follow all safety protocols during loading, unloading, and driving operations to prevent accidents or injuries

Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (D or AZ)
Electronic logging required (Training Provided)
Proven experience in driving large trucks or similar vehicles
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route planning techniques
Excellent communication skills and a dependable work ethic
Ability to stay alert during long hours on the road and handle unexpected situations professionally
