Join Extendicare as a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) in a part time capacity. Deliver exceptional care and manage medication while supporting our residents' health and wellness needs. In your role as a Registered Nurse, you will play an essential part in our team by reporting to the Director of Care.

Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, documenting care plans, and engaging in resident education. Collaborate closely with care teams to ensure effective service delivery and responsiveness to changes in resident health. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure resident care assessments and documents are current
Oversee medication ordering and compliance
Facilitate resident move-ins and care transfers
Coordinate care conferences for residents and families
Manage emergencies and coordinate with team members Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse registration in your province
Background in community and long-term care
Proven communication and critical thinking skills
Experience managing care coordination with team members
Recent Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 6 months) Contribute your skills and compassion to making a difference at Extendicare.
