And we offer you the freedom to be a positive disrupter and turn big ideas into bold, industry-changing realities.For our business, for clients, and for youThe Role & Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to performing and coordinating a variety of administrative duties and tasks including.Asset setupAsset Maintenance and reconciliationLiaising with 3rd party brokers/custodians/agentsProcessing agent noticesProcessing corporate actionsEntering and settling trades as requiredPreparing and assisting with various reports required by internal teamsOther duties assigned by Management.Cash/Position Reconciliation: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to performing and coordinating a variety of reconciliation duties and tasks includingPreparing daily reconciliation of cash transactionsPreparing daily reconciliation of Apex/Client positionsEnsuring aged breaks (over 7 days)
are addressed and escalatedProcessing and reconciling data in various systemsActively researching discrepancies with various agents and internal teamsPreparing and ensuring all Reporting is issued within the required timeframesPreparing and assisting with various reports required by internal teamsOther duties assigned by ManagementDevelop a relationship with a given set of Clients to ensure their needs are being addressed and liaising with all relevant internal teams to ensure that targets are met, and the Clients receive a high level of serviceSupport Middle Office Manager:Providing support for assigning duties and work delegationRoll out training and development plans to direct reports and new joiners.Skills RequiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance requiredKnowledge of Fund Administration and Private Equity FundsCPA/MBA/Master’s Degree is an advantageAbility to work towards and meet agreed deadlinesPaxus, Geneva, Investran, eFront or Allvue experience would be an advantagePrior experience with incentive fees, waterfall distributions, allocations, financial statements and/or subsequent closes is a plusHighly organized and motivated individual with an acute attention to detailSelf-starter who volunteers for recent opportunities and projectsAbility to manage complex accounting structuresExcellent interpersonal and written communications skillsWe pride ourselves in our commitment to fostering a connected and inclusive culture, all our opportunities at Apex have four (4) days in office requirement.Salary ranges from USD $80,000.00 – USD $95,000.00 plus additional discretionary yearly bonus based on corporate and individual's performance.
