With over 60 years of philanthropy and $520 million in grants, it is one of Canada’s largest private charitable foundations.Senior Communications ManagerAs a senior leader, you will distill complex information into clear messaging, align diverse stakeholders, and advance the Foundation’s priorities through a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Senior Director of Communications with strategic planning, grant calls, media relations, recognition, measurement, and evaluation.Provide strategic oversight and integration of all social and digital communications channels, including websites and social media platforms.Develop, enforce, and maintain brand guidelines and visual identity consistency across internal and external materials.Collaborate with board directors, staff, Wittington colleagues, third‑party vendors, and program directors to gather information and support communication activities.Manage the Foundation’s communications inbox, editorial calendar, invoicing, annual budget tracking, and SharePoint site.Lead the management and content of the Foundation’s websites, ensuring regular updates, program calls, announcements, and analytics reporting.Oversee email marketing via tools such as MailChimp, manage contact lists, and ensure compliance with privacy and outreach policies.Monitor media activity, leverage opportunities for positioning the organization, develop media lists, and build relationships with journalists, including the creation of speeches, op‑eds, web copy, and blog entries.Track and analyze communication metrics using services such as Meltwater, and set benchmarks for all communication activities.Coordinate recognition and branding on materials, signage,
