This is a 12 month contract covering a maternity leave. The leadership of the Health and Wellness Manager, you will have the best of both worlds – working the floor and learning to manage staff. Join us and experience the satisfaction of making a positive impact on the lives of residents and their families and take your clinical career to new heights.ResponsibilitiesThe Resident Care Coordinator plays a pivotal role in our retirement residences by assuming a diverse range of responsibilities that encompass both clinical leadership and administrative management. One of the key responsibilities involves supervising and guiding the daily operations of the nursing department.The Associate Health and Wellness Manager actively participates in Care Conferences and engages with residents and their families to address issues and concerns. They also share the responsibility for recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating clinical team members, including applying the disciplinary process in conjunction with the Health and Wellness Manager and Executive Director.They oversee and assess compliance of resident care staff with company policies, safety regulations, and proper work practices.
