Summary
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This is a dual position that includes the job responsibilities of a Patient Care Technician, a Cardiac Monitor Technician, a Visual Monitor, a Mental Health/Patient Care Technician, or a Unit Secretary.

Minimum Qualifications

Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)

One of the following:

6 months acute care experience





1‑year Skilled Nursing Facility experience

Successfully completes a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT Internship

Completed a PCT or Nursing Assistant program with at least 40 hours of an external clinical component

Preferred Qualifications

1 year hospital experience in a related field
